Shirt from Japan's first World Cup, France 1998, made by Asics: blue with the red and white flames on the sleeves that earned it the name “flame model”. It was the only Japan World Cup shirt not made by adidas. Japan lost all three group matches, against Argentina, Croatia and Jamaica, with Hidetoshi Nakata and Masashi Nakayama in the team.
