Editorial notice
Aura Archivo is a historical and cultural football archive. This page explains what we publish, how we do it and what we are not.
Effective as of October 4, 2026.

What this archive is
Aura Archivo is a project by Aura de Barrio that gathers, recreates and documents football shirts and crests, starting with the eras from which almost no photos survive. Its purpose is cultural, historical and educational.
No affiliation with clubs or brands
Aura Archivo has no relationship with the clubs, federations, leagues, manufacturers or sponsors that appear in the archive, and does not speak on their behalf. Names, crests, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown solely to identify and document historical pieces.
Recreations and real photos
Every entry clearly states its source next to the image:
- Recreation: an image produced by Aura de Barrio from period sources, with the help of digital tools. It is not a period photograph or an original garment.
- Real photo (for crests, Documented original): an image of the original piece, published under a free license or with its author's permission.
Confidence level
Every recreation carries a confidence level that tells you how much we know about the piece:
- High: based on several clear photos.
- Medium: based on partial or low-quality photos.
- Low: reconstructed from descriptions or eyewitness accounts.
Published entries list the sources they are based on: newspapers, books, videos, photographs or testimonies. A recreation is our best interpretation of those sources and may contain errors.
An archive, not a store
The archive's images are not sold as products or offered for printing or manufacturing garments. What the premium plan offers, once available, is access to full stories, period photos, high-resolution images and participation tools.
