Contribution terms
Members can contribute corrections, memories and period material. These terms explain how contributions are reviewed and what permission you give us when you send them. You accept them only once, before your first contribution.
Effective as of October 4, 2026.
Courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
What you can contribute
- Corrections: a detail on an entry (sponsor, brand, collar, crest, season or dates) with its evidence: a photo, a clipping, a video or a reference.
- Memories: a short story, up to 1,200 characters, about a shirt or a team.
- Period material: photos, tickets or clippings that are yours or that you have permission to share.
- Recreation requests: a shirt you would like to see in the archive. Members vote on requests every month.
How they are reviewed
Every contribution is reviewed by Aura de Barrio, who decides whether it gets published. Nothing is published without that approval. You can follow the status of your contributions in your account: received, in review, approved or rejected. If a contribution is rejected, we tell you why: not enough evidence, already corrected, not applicable or duplicate.
So that the archive speaks with one voice, approved texts are edited before publication. In memories, we edit for clarity without changing the meaning of what you told us.
What you declare when contributing
- That what you send is true to the best of your knowledge.
- That the material is yours or that you have its author's permission to send it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- That it does not include other people's personal data without their consent.
The permission you give us
You remain the owner of your contribution. By sending it, you grant Aura de Barrio a free, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide permission to use, edit, adapt and publish it on Aura Archivo and its official channels, such as the social media accounts of Aura de Barrio, always with the appropriate credit.
You can ask for a memory or material of yours to be removed, or for your name to be removed from a credit, by email at contacto@auradebarrio.com, by direct message on Instagram to @aura_de_barrio or using the content removal form. Anything already used to correct a detail on an entry may remain in the archive without your name.
Credits and recognition
Approved contributions are credited on the entry, for example: “Correction contributed by @username”. Approved contributions count toward your level (Fan, Contributor, Historian) and can earn you free months of premium, under the current rules published on the site. Contributing does not give rise to any payment or employment relationship.
What is not accepted
Material you do not hold the rights to, offensive or discriminatory content, advertising, other people's personal data, or contributions made to deceive. Anyone who keeps sending such material may lose the ability to contribute and comment. See also the terms of use.
