Nike's first home shirt for Sunderland, with red and white stripes on the front and on the back too, and Great Annual Savings Group on the chest. In League One they finished 4th and lost the play-off semi-final to Lincoln City (3-2 on aggregate), although they won the EFL Trophy at Wembley against Tranmere Rovers.
