1986 was the first year Sporting Cristal wore a sportswear brand: the Italian Diadora. In the league they won the Zona Metropolitana and their Descentralizado group, but finished fifth in the liguilla and lost on penalties to UTC in the Regional; the title went to Colegio San Agustín. The recreation shows long sleeves, a V-neck and a large Diadora logo on the chest.
