It was Racing's home for decades, until the move to A Malata in 1993. It was known as the Inferniño, after the neighbourhood where it stood, and in 1954 it was given the name of Manuel Rivera, a historic figure at the club. After its demolition, a public square and a shopping centre were built on the site.
