Blue shirt from the 1950s, a time when blue was Japan's home colour, before the white of the 1960s. Japan returned to the Olympic Games at Melbourne 1956, where they lost 2-0 to the hosts, Australia, and went out in the first round. The recreation shows a white shirt collar, long sleeves with white cuffs and the Japanese flag on the chest.
