Sky-blue shirt Japan wore at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, the same colour they had used in 1930, taken from the Imperial University of Tokyo. In it they beat Sweden 3-2 on their debut, the so-called “Miracle of Berlin”, and then lost 8-0 to Italy in the quarter-finals. The recreation shows a white buttoned shirt collar, long sleeves with white cuffs and the Japanese flag on the chest.
