White shirt with a red diagonal sash, the first design of its kind in the national team's history, inspired by Peru's. In it the United States achieved the historic 1-0 win over England in Belo Horizonte at the 1950 World Cup in Brazil, although they lost to Spain and Chile and went out in the group stage. The recreation shows a grey collar and cuffs and a “U.S.A.” crest.
