Medium confidence
Based on partial or low-quality photos.
The recreation shows a navy blue shirt with a white V-neck, long sleeves with white cuffs and a crest, designed for the 1934 World Cup in Italy. That year the United States qualified in Rome with a 4-2 win over Mexico, with four goals from Aldo “Buff” Donelli, and three days later lost 7-1 to Italy in the round of 16, with Donelli scoring. The sources consulted do not confirm the colors of the shirt at that tournament.
