It was San Telmo's first ground of its own, on the corner of Azopardo and Garay, in the city of Buenos Aires, opposite where the Crónica newspaper building stands today. The club left it on 17 October 1926, after a 0-0 draw with Villa Ballester, when the heirs of the landowner evicted it because it had no papers proving its right to the land. After leaving, it moved to Isla Maciel, where it opened its current stadium in 1929.
