This is the first shirt of Borussia Dortmund, founded on 19 December 1909 in the Zum Wildschütz tavern: blue and white vertical stripes with a red sash across them, worn with black shorts. The club only played its first official match in January 1911 and its first league season in 1911-12; the black and yellow arrived around 1913, when members of three neighbouring clubs joined. The recreation shows a lace-up collar and long sleeves.
