This is FC Bayern's current crest: a red ring with the legend «FC BAYERN MÜNCHEN» in white letters surrounding a disc with the white-and-blue diamonds of Bavaria. The Bavarian colours first appeared on the crest in 1954, and the current design comes from the 2017 modernisation. The version in use dates from October 2024, when the club slightly lightened the red and the blue.

- In October 2024 the club adjusted the crest for the first time since 2017: the red and the blue became slightly lighter shades to improve contrast, ahead of the German accessibility law in force since June 2025, without changing the design. The 2017 modernisation had retouched some of the lettering and the diamond pattern.
