Shirt from the year of the Copa Libertadores final. Coached by Sergio Markarián, Sporting Cristal knocked out Vélez Sarsfield, Bolívar and Racing Club, whom they thrashed 4-1 in Lima, and in the final drew 0-0 with Cruzeiro in Lima and lost 1-0 in Belo Horizonte. That year the crest added three stars for the three-in-a-row, and in the league they finished third in the aggregate table, behind champions Alianza Lima.
