In it, Giovanni Trapattoni's team won the so-called scudetto dei record (record-breaking title): 26 wins, only 2 defeats and 58 points, a record for an 18-team league with two points for a win, with Zenga in goal, Matthäus and Brehme, and Aldo Serena as top scorer with 22 goals. The recreation shows vertical black and blue stripes, a black polo collar, short sleeves and a star above the crest.
