After the merger with Unione Sportiva Milanese imposed by the Fascist regime, the club was renamed Ambrosiana and swapped the stripes for a white shirt with a large red cross, taken from the coat of arms of Milan, with a small badge in the centre. It was the first-choice shirt only in the 1928-29 season: the team finished sixth in group B of the Divisione Nazionale and, as the fans did not like it, the black and blue returned in May 1929. The recreation shows a shirt collar and long sleeves.
