White adidas shirt with wavy red lines, part of the “stars and stripes” kit the national team debuted as hosts of the 1994 World Cup. It was worn in the round of 16 on July 4 at Stanford, where the United States lost 1-0 to Brazil, the eventual champions. It was the country's best World Cup showing in 64 years; Alexi Lalas was one of the faces of that team.
