Celtic’s first home shirt made by Nike, after the club ended its long relationship with Umbro in 2005; it kept the green and white hoops and the Carling sponsorship. In 2005-06 Celtic won the league and the League Cup, but fell in the third round of the Scottish Cup to Clyde. In Europe they went out of the Champions League in the second qualifying round.
