Umbro home shirt with green and white hoops, sponsored by CR Smith, which had returned to Celtic’s chest in 1993 with a four-year contract. It was the first season in which Celtic wore numbers on the shirt, by order of the league, having until then worn them on the shorts. On the pitch, they won the Scottish Cup (1-0 against Airdrieonians), lost the League Cup final on penalties and finished fourth in the league.
