Umbro shirt from the era when the club crest, with the four-leaf clover, first appeared on the shirt (1977). It was Billy McNeill’s first season as manager and ended with the league title, sealed in the last match with a 4-2 win over Rangers despite playing with ten men for much of the game. In the cups it reached the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup and the semi-finals of the League Cup.
