Griffin Park was built in 1904 on a former orchard belonging to the Fuller's brewery and was Brentford's home for 116 years. It was famous for being the only league ground in England with a pub on each of its four corners. Its last first-team match was played in 2020 behind closed doors because of the covid-19 pandemic, and in 2021 its demolition began to make way for housing.
