Puma's first season as BVB's kit supplier. The shirt in the image, with yellow and black stripes and the Champions League patch, matches the European version the club wore in the 2012-13 Champions League: it played the Wembley final on 25 May 2013 in it, with a final inscription added above the Evonik logo, and lost 1-2 to Bayern to an 89th-minute goal. Along the way it knocked out Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid, and Robert Lewandowski was the season's top scorer with 36 goals.
