Nike shirt from the season in which Dortmund won the Intercontinental Cup: on 2 December 1997, in Tokyo, they beat Cruzeiro 2-0. It was the last fluorescent yellow shirt of the Nike era and the first with s.Oliver as sponsor, with a black band on the shoulders and a thin stripe across the middle. In the Champions League they reached the semi-finals, where Real Madrid knocked them out, and they lost the UEFA Super Cup to Barcelona.
