Nike's first home shirt, as the brand began kitting out Boca in 1996: very dark blue with the yellow stripe between two white lines. The 1996-97 season was a poor one domestically (10th in the Apertura 1996 and 9th in the Clausura 1997, both won by River), and in the 1996 Supercopa the team went out on penalties to Cruzeiro in the quarter-finals. The recreation shows a polo collar and the Quilmes sponsorship.
