Blue and black striped home shirt by Latas, with Sit-In as front sponsor. In it Atalanta produced one of their most celebrated campaigns: playing in Serie B, they reached the semi-finals of the Cup Winners' Cup after knocking out Merthyr Tydfil, OFI Crete and Sporting CP, and fell to Mechelen, who went on to win the tournament. In the league they finished fourth with 47 points and regained their place in Serie A.
